Hello I am Adaylin :)
I grew up in a small town in South Texas in an area most people know as the Rio Grande Valley. After years of societal pressure pushing me to be something I didn't want to be, I grew to fall in love with design and nurturing my creative side. This led to a complete renaissance in my life, where I began to find ways to implement creativity in everything that I could do. My professional interests started incorporating some form of creativity and I found myself enjoying work in ways I didn't think were possible.
As a first-generation college student, life in the professional world has been extremely challenging, but I have been fortunate enough to have a great support system backing me up. Because of them, I grew confident in my abilities and was able to grow as a marketing professional in the Tech industry. Throughout my career, I have been able to learn a lot of new skills and build on top of skills I learned on my own. I hope to continue to be able to grow as a marketer and designer in the upcoming future, wherever that may be.
For fun, I love to spend time with my family and listen to the stories of their lives and my childhood. Living in Brooklyn has forced me out of my comfort zone and I now find myself reaching for new ways to implement creativity into my life.
Currently: Seeking freelance, part-time, and project based work opportunities where I can use my previous marketing and program management skills to build my experience in the Design/Art Direction/Communications sectors.
